For playing the fantasy NHL game, the participants are requested to submit a weekly roster of their team. This roster has to be presented for every challenge week. An online list of players is available for the participants. They can choose maximum ten players for the roster of their respective teams from the list. The list of players is modified throughout the process of the challenge.
Rules for Formation of the Team:
The team of ten players consists of 6 forwards, 1 goaltender and 3 defensemen.
Each player from the available roster can be used for a maximum period of three times, during the game challenge.
Players can be selected only at the listed positions. These listings cannot be changed during the challenge proceedings.
Participants are allowed to change the team roster in a week, at a time before the deadline of 1pm EST on Monday. The 1pm EST deadline arriving on April 11, Wednesday is an exception to this rule.
Once a player is used for three periods, he stops accruing the points.
Scoring Of the Fantasy NHL Games:
The real life player’s performance is the criteria for the awarding of points in each weekly challenge game. The scoring is carried out from Monday through Sunday. This is not applicable for the first and ninth challenge week. The points that are earned by the players are added to arrive at the score of the respective challenge week.
